Getting Started with Chronic Disease Management for Admin – Small Group

Our Getting Started short courses are delivered as a single 2.5-hour remote training session for Small Groups (up to 3 people) with one of our experienced CDM Plus Trainers. Our session will use your current clinical software, including Best Practice, Medical Director, Communicare to increase your understanding of CDM Processes, Chronic Conditions, MBS Online, and CDM Item Numbers.  Digital training materials will be provided prior to your session.

Getting Started with Chronic Disease Management for Admin is suitable for Admin Staff, Medical Practice Assistants, and Practice Managers looking to improve Chronic Disease Management service delivery with an administration focus.

Course Objectives

• Identify the CDM Practice Team and their roles.
• Identify Chronic Disease Management processes
• Improve knowledge of Medicare, CDM Item numbers and MBS Billing Combinations
• Feel confident to apply learning to improve Chronic Disease Management
