Adding a Word Processor Template

  1. Click on Letter Icon
  2. Click on Templates
  3. Click on New Template
  4. You are working with a blank document.
  5. On the Left hand side are additional fields you may to add to the template such as Family/Social/Smoking/Alcohol, Medical/Surgical History, Immunisations, Today’s visit, and Observations.
  6. It is easier to add the headings, tables and layout, font size and style first, and then place cursor where the field is to be inserted, and then Double Click.
  7. Click File then Save As when you have finished editing the system template – you can make it available to all users.
  8. Test document with a test patient – you may need to repeat this process a couple of times until you are happy with the document.
